NEW PRODUCT: Inflatable rash guard (UNM school project)

We are building a product designed to keep surfers, snorkelers, and other water atheletes safe.

My name is Colin Evans. I am in need of your Surfing
expertise for my University of New Mexico mechanical engineering design
team project.

The product is an inflatable rash guard that will be activated by the
user in an emergency. The flotation device will be integrated into a
tight fitting shirt or rash guard and will be equipped with a
pull-cord/trigger device to allow a CO2 cartridge to fill up a
flotation bladder. The idea is that the un-inflated device will be
light weight, breathable, and not constrict mobility while swimming.

We need help with customer needs and priorities so we have a short
survey to be filled out by anyone with experience in water sports. The
