I would have to agree with you. The Brewer Thrusters are very responsive and offer innovative and refined boards for todays modern surfer. The XTR's are locally shaped in Oceanside and the epoxy resin is very strong, yet flexible. Go Brewer, another win...

| They only work well if you know how to ride them ... know what i mean? Perhaps a Brewer Foamy might be better for you. Does he do those? |

| I ride XTRs as well and am totally sold on the technology. Lighter, stronger, and they don't take on water when you ding them...and they perform as good or better than standard technologies, and much better than epoxy. |

| I tried an XTR P7 the other day...really light and fast. I like the technology. It feels like a standard glas board but may even outperform it. |

No...it is a Dick Brewer shape but manufactured in Ocenaside by one of his partners. Lost, CI, and Dick Brewer are starting to use this XTR technology in a lot of their boards. They are a little stronger and lighter, but really look, feel, and perform like standard glass boards. The foam inside the board is an open cell foam so the core can take on water...the board actually has tiny pinholes along the top so it breathes.
Why all the negativity? |

that sucks! I noticed their shop in Cardiff was closed down, but I didn't know the whole company went under. You may want to try and connect with Dick Brewer Surfboards and let them know how you feel as it is more or less the same company...not sure if they are still in business but I think they may be.
sorry to hear that. |
